Single 40 breeder fish

Considering cockatoo apistos in my 20L or shellies.

If you really want something interesting do a shell dweller community with neolamprologus caudopunctatus for top swimming "dithers". Both are home to lake tanganyika.

I think occelatus are heram breeders as well so you can do 3-4 females and 1 male in there with the dithers. This was my old 20 long tang set up

Jhay those were beautiful fish and I love all my rams in my other 40s. And back to another post couldn't I have a couple of eba and some other fish in a 40?

You could keep an EBA and some tetras and cories in a 40. Might get away with a pair of apistos as well.

You could do a pair and some dithers, but the question was a single specimen though.
