Single Fish 75gal Ideas

It seems like you pretty much have your mind made up towards Cichlids. In that case, I would go with a FH or Midas/Red Devil. Get on Aquabid and check out Flowerhorns.

If you want an oddball, I would go with a Wolffish or Gulper Cat.

ok thought it would but wanted opinions.

I'm not stuck on cichlids, I'm just leaning toward them.

Gulper cat would be sweet. Maybe a Marble Goby.

Hmmm, you're probably not a goldfish person... but even so, shubunkins have a more "traditional" fish body shape, and there are some amazing varieties out there.

How about a carnivorous loricariid? Pseudacanthicus leopardus, L114.

My favorite thing I ever had in my 75 was a big male Argentea and a group of Boesmani Rainbows. He didn't have any interest in eating the Rainbows. I miss that tank.
