Agree, try to find ones that are really dark. Or you can try other Cryptoheros species, there are many nice ones out there. I've never kept them before but I like the blue eyes and the yellow on the Myrnae. Also Sajica's are cool

I had a solo male with severums that looked super nice, he had dark colors, long fins and a big hump. I traded him in because he's way too agressive. I'll see if I have any pictures, that was a couple years ago

That's all what I found, I had him in a net box for a few days so the hump kinda shriveled down. But notice how long and flowey his fins are. He looked way better in the tank and not stressed up, I kinda regret letting him go. I took these pics as I was bagging him
