You could get like 5. They grow to about 5-6" and they're awesome when you feed them.

This is what I have so far
1. 5 silver dollars, albino long fin pleco.
2.a breeding pair of JD or EBJD male with a JD female, 1 pleco.
3. 30x tiger barbs, 1 pleco
4. Breeding pair of fire mouth cichlids, 1 rubber nose pleco.
5. Breeding pair of green terrors, 1 pleco.
6. 5 exodons, 1 pleco
7. Angel fish, 1 pleco
8. Angel fish, 1 pleco
9. ????
10. ????

U can do a lot more than 5 exo's in a 55g. More like 30+ most don't exceed 4" in captivity.
