Single Fish for a 75?

Fair enough opinion. I just don't personally see how a fish that can reach up to and sometimes over 14" could possibly considered as a candidate for a tank that is only 4' long and 18" wide.

Nothing wrong with being conservative, but there is with overextending.
 
I'd get a cuban, motaguense, istlanum, or grammodes for a 75 gallon.
 
I would love to try out a Green terror... but those options u listed are good too..

I am not saying your opinion is a bad one. It just differs from mine.

Maybe a Jag would be pushing it. But I think a RD or Flowerhorn that would likely stay under 14" would be fine for life.
 
goo barred midas, mine lives in an 80 gallon.
he's not doing to bad.

i have to upgrade his tank soon though, he's getting to be pretty big
