Single fish for a 90 gal?

Agreed with the Trimac...pure macs are so rare these days a nice wild caught male would sure be a show stopper :)
 
Thanks for all the replies, looking into them now. How big do the gulper catfish get to?
 
they dont get too big, about 30 centimeters. I would say a single Frontosa, but im not expert on african cichlids, it might get too big.

the only issue with this would be is that being social fish they wouldn't be an ideal single specimen fish...being that it might be uncomfortable in that setup
 
why not like a cobra pike?

im pretty sure they dont get huge... but i could be wrong...
 
All these sound pretty interesting. Would a fahakka be able to live indefinitely in the 90 or would a larger tank be needed over time? And do they require brackish water eventually? Thanks!
 
I know you only want one fish, but why not african cichlids?
