Single Fish In 80 Gallon tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
use the search option and search for sexing a jag. There are a few threads on it I just cant find them right now. When they get about 5" usually you can tell, but its hard when they are young.

Forget about the Jags I wanna Haitian. I googled them and they look beautiful and grow to a decent size. Not to mention it would be cool to have a rare (or so it seems) cichlid. One question some picture the looked spotted and others they are all black, whats going on with that? Does anyone know where i can find one of these bad boys?

Thanks Adam

Thanks alot man. Looks like its gonna cost me a small fortune, but i think it should be worth it. Those spotted guys look incredible. Thanks for your help and suggestions guys you found me my next fish. If anyone here breeds these guys let me know.

Thanks Adam

Damn, I was offered FREE juvenile Hatians today. I refused because I wouldn't be able to provide housing for one in the future. Damn, what an opportunity lost!

I have as many as you need. if you truly are serious let me know and ill pop some up on aqua bid for you. let me know.

Dont wolffish get huge? I only got an 80 gallon to house a fish for its life unless i stumble upon some funds.

Siesta Im in the process of retrieving then cleaning and setting up the tank. Then I will need to cycle, so itll be a few weeks off. I will contact you though when im ready for sure. Could you maybe PM me a price for a nice male shipped to Phoenix?

i think you should go predator like arowana or wolffish

Those fishes get pretty huge. If they are bought as juvies, they'll outgrow the tank in a little over a year.

As for predators....Jags are great predators for a 75 gallon! Ambush....

Just yesterday, I saw the most AWESOME midas ever in a 75 gallon....HOLLY crap! That thing was 14" of pure power. Very muscular with a HUGE nuchal hump and it just chilled there waiting for you to pet it. Now that's a wet pet!!!! :grinyes:
