Single green Texas in a 55gal ?

I have a Cyano in a 55g with 3 small tank mates and he's doing fine. He'll get a much bigger tank when I can afford it, which will be long before he grows out of it. A single Carpintis would be excellent in a 55g.

Thanks for all the input everyone ..... Now are there any opinions on what color sand would make him look the best ? Like black sand / black background Or white / black ?

I'd do a natural substrate (I'm partial to really small gravel)and a black b/g.with driftwood and river rock

I ended up going with white or like an off white ? It's from petco and was on sale lol. I just didn't want to do black sand again

Right now he is in the 55 with 2 small male convicts
