I've definately been guilty of doing this :) so im just curious about what people think about single or very short worded posts. (i.e. sweet, nice pickup, cool, etc.)

Do you think that they are useless, annoying, or dumb?

or

Do you think that they are a simple harmless compliment to the person?:D

Funny thing is I remember giving a short worded compliment to somebody here and then got blasted for posting such short posts by the same person! :screwy: I think that they are a simple and nice compliment to others. :) It only takes you half a second to read a single word and if it really bothers you that much then its kinda ashame really.:( Theres much more bothersome things in this world to gnaw at you! Needless to say I will never post a nice compliment for this person ever again! :nilly:

just my .02 ;)

Yup

I couldn't resist. :D

I think they are fine... as long as their signature isn't a half mile long. That should be the rule "post have to be longer than your signature"

Just say what's on your mind short and sweet or long and indepth it all counts but i voted short because MFK is a big board and lots of info to take in so i don't read the long ones unless they pertain to me.:grinno:

Most of the time this happens in the photo lounge.
People post pictures to get recognition.
I think that pretty much gives them what they want:)

If it is done by a single member too much, it raises a red flag though.......there is always someone that is just interested in the post count.
