i too have Pacus, they grow very fast and are great fish mines are about 3 1/2 inces and growing, flake and grapes are on there menu! good luck i have a 75G (will b upgrading very soon 280)tank also with two huge tinfoil barbs, keep the water clean, they can handle a wide range of ph... Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. For now I just got a 10gallon kit & water heater. He needed that water heater badly, even in CA. I have my whole family keeping an eye out for a bigger set up.
