Which species do you have? Pomacea diffusa doesn't grow that size. It's the Pomacea insularum and Pomacea canaliculata that do.

ive got no clue. i came home from my moms house and saw it in her tank and she said she got it at petsmart. petsmart sells light blue ones and albino ones as well. i think theyre all the same species, if that helps.

There is no albino form of Pomacea diffusa. The "albinos" may be ivories in apple snail lingo. The blues and ivories are all Pomacea diffusa but you need to be careful as there are canas (in gold form mostly) sold as diffusas when they are not. Canas grow to baseball size and are voracious plant eaters. They are also illegal to ship interstate.

if theyre illegal then i doubt petsmart has them. it seems that my sister has diffusa. her snail still has a shell only about .75" wide so its still got a little bit of growing to do.
