I think I'm guilty of hijacking this thread already

Don't worry about that I am to laid back to even care. As long as your not trolling and just being a JaCk A. I don't mind at all! Yes I have seen a few different looks from them (Emp's). Istrated studying them but lost interest mainly because I am so not into anything African except them and GATF. I have a few friend's who keep African tank's and I think it is a waste of time. But when I found out about them it was to late I was already addicted. Maybe 20 yrs form now or next life time.

To tell you the truth i got back into keeping Cichlids to do Parachromis only and then I found out about Dovii at that time that I had never heard of when I was keeping Jag's 15yrs ago. So I was all excited about keeping Dovii went to get the 240g and everything. Then I came upon the You tube of Diesel Mack. Got serious about learning what i could about them. Had seen the pair of Pinima in the LFS that I got them from plenty of times. Was never interested in owning such big Cichlids. As time grew on my curiosity peaked and found out D Mack was leving the game and figured there was a void that needed to be filled and well why not give it a try. The LFS that had the Pinima was going out of Business so he was selling everything. I was still intemedated by the Pinima and didn't even inquire about them. I grabed 3 Ocells from another place and went back to the place that had the Pinima and he had Peruvian Mono's so I had to get them. He informed me he would soon be closing his door's and had slashed all his price's. At that time he put the Pinima on here (MFK) for $400.oo a peice. I had alocal friend who had a Red Tiger Moto male that just killed his female and he took it to this guy's shop. I went down to see if i would want it. One thing lead to another and I ended up walking out with the Pinima and my Sting Ray. I got a deal of a life time so it was kind of a no brainer. From that point on it was set. I was going to be the Cichla MAN! And here I am today. All my friend's in the hobby think I am out of my mind and thaose who aren't in the hobby are just amazed at my collection.

Would talking about my other little hobby (espresso) be considered trolling, or not?!? Seriously, a little nuts over coffee ...Nic was being tempted to come over early this morning after I was telling him about my new espresso machine.

...anyway, I just checked Jeff's list, pinimas and tems, wish I had the space

Oi, is any of you guys coming over to Montreal this summer?!? The party scene here is amazing, and if you guys are coming over ...I'll take Cichla currency for taking you around this place

I used to bartend on an Italian cruise ship a few years ago.. and I don't care what Starbucks says, their espressos and fancy coffees are poo, especially the one passed through what animal?!? I couldn't believe when I heard that, and it sells at almost 20$/cup ...damn, if that's the case, we can just pass coffee beans and sell them to Starbucks.

Anyway, I make some mean cappuccinos, ask wifey.

I know what you mean. My girl has put a lock on me for now. I have a 350g sitting in the garage next to a Mustang that needs a trannie so I think she is getting frustrated with me and my Toy's and Fishies!

Truth is I need a break to concentrait on upgrading all my equipment on all my tank's. Also need to sell some tank's I am finally a true MFK I have grown tired and bored with anything under 100g. But when I come back I am going to come back buying hard. I also have a thing for Sting Ray's!

I hear the toys and fish thing. I have a 64 fairlane sports coupe that needs a tranny and rebuilt motor. I got a heavy foot...and when I'd come home w/ rubber all over the fender wells...dad would say, " I hope your saving for a new motor". Of course not....what is saving?

The house I am at now I cant get any more tanks...and the landlord said...nothing bigger than that. Its only a 120g. So I am gonna have to move due to my fish obbsession. To a place w/ a garage....So I can get the real monster tanks!
