Six Banded Distichodus Owners

I did a search on the Six Banded Distichodus and the majority of the threads talked about aggressive behaviors from this fish. This is contrary to what I was told and read on other sites. The threads that I read were a few years old so I wanted to hear from current owners as I thinking about picking up one or two for my 500 gallon.

Has anyone mixed these in with Clown Loaches or Bala Sharks? Were there aggression issues? Any experience would be appreciated.

had 2 offthem in a 300 gallon they hated each other ,not to bad with other fish.still have one its 18" in a 1800 gallon gets on ok with other fish ,sometimes chases the 2 foot pacus about but not to bad

would try one you should be ok in a good size tank
