how large do red belly piranhas get. also what kind of water paramiters do they need.

rbp don't ussally get over 9-10", basic parameters, 7-8 ph, 78-84 temp.

the ph should be slightly acidic (under 7)

it should be but do you think everyone who has ever kept a p has there ph at 6.8?, because they don't and they can live at a ph over that.

Just because they can live at that ph doesn't mean it's good for them. At least let the guy know what is recommended and let him decide if he wants to keep them at 6.8. I know that my jack dempsey should be around 6.8 ph but hes at 7.4. I would still recommend someone keep theirs at 6.8 though if they asked. But remember, most if not all fish can adapt. :)
Also, I'm not trying to attack you XR, just trying to be helpful.

three in a 75 it a good start. i would go 3-5 for a minimum. they are good in schools
