Size of Tank Need for Tiger Shovel Catfish?

Don't do it especially since you still don't know what you'll do with it later. They grow extremely fast so even if you did get it, you'd have to find a new home for it in just a few months. I had 1 that grew from 1"-8" in 4 or 5 months

I agree, they grow extremely fast. Saw one at my LFS about two months ago at 4" and was back the other day it's easily 7" now! It's also hard to find somebody that has a big enough tank once it gets to big so if you really want one start working on a several hundred gallon tank :)
