Size pump to filter or tank?

I picked one up today, rated for 1100 gph...i may only use 2 of the canister though...one for bio and one for mechanical...ill keep the third one as a spare...the canisters all came with ball valves already on them, which i thought was handy as hell lol...im setting it up tonight so we'll see how it goes
