Oddly enough, there hasn't been really that much gill flaring lately. They have pretty much set up a heirarchy and keep within the code. Maybe when they get large enough to breed there will be more flaring. I'm not sure if i even have females...i know i have males though...haha.
The coolest thing about the pasiones though, is after I do a water change...their gills turn from red to BLACK, their pelvic, anal, and dorsal fins ALSO get BLACK trim on them. Its reallly awesome lookin, highly contrasts the yellow. I think it might be breedin dress, but I'm not sure.
Anyone else have some T. pasiones to show off?
