Thank you for your replies. I will be picking up my male otorongo this weekend hopefully. He will be going in my 400 gallon pond for now. he is about 8 inches. got him for $200
From my importer here in colorado. Do you want anything I can ask him to try and get almost anything, but it needs to be from peru.
I'm probably just going to start out w/ a motoro from an LFS once my 300 is ready. It'll be my first ray.
If you get a chance, ask about a WC Peru C. monoculus...4-7" would be about all I could do right now and I don't really want smaller than that. I wouldn't mind having a blue Crenicichla cincta, either
