Skittish??????

Does anyone else have Pbass that are skittish? Does it stop once they get bigger?? Coz I got rid of my jardini because of this reason. Is there anyway to stop it.

My orino growouts were a little skittish when they were under 6". My 8+" bass are not skittish in the least. What kind of bass do you have, how big, and what are their tank mates?

They are mono's around 4-5inches they have no tank mates I did have a oscar in there but he smashed them haha.

I do like 40%-50% once a week. It all depends on the fish. My orinos chase and attack the equipment when I'm cleaning yet the kels freak lol.

What are so good tank mates??
They eat nothing but hikari food sticks and won't touch anything else is that alright or should I try and witch up the pellets?

My bass are skittish. When I go near the tank they back away from me. When it's feeding time they will come to the top. I have one kel and two tems. The tems are 9" and the kel is 5-6".
I have been considering getting a more "friendly" fish, such as an oscar, to go with them to help get them out of their skittish state.
