That stinks.... when my mom set up a 10gal for me and my bro when we were little, we picked out the fish, she took care of them... but they would always die. So she gave up, I got my tanks now and she looks at them, feeds them and other then that only me and my bf are aloud to mess with it!! I dont trust my mom with fish anymore... O___o

i was looking for the part that connects the python to the bathroom sink. my wife said" just fill it with the hose" that is what i did last time. the hose water is about 50deg i freaked out, no harm was done i guess. she wont do that again. the key is to flip out bad enough that they are scared to touch anything. worked for me a little to good, lost my helper, oh well. she is at least starting to really enjoy the fish.

I got my gf into the hobby and she's killed less fish than I have. (not surprisingly, since i taught her the key points no one taught me when i was new to aquaria)

Same here. I taught her the ropes, and she taught me patience.

On the bright side at least she likes fish tanks! everyone knows not to touch my tank without me, but I still have to worry about people overfeeding when im' not home!

My mom is insistent that the tanks need cleaning and doesnt understand why you can't use any rags,sponges,etc used to clean dishes. But everyone basically knows that they can look but not touch
