Ouch, sorry about your fish, that really sucks! But, it's the tought that counts!

My hubby refuses to touch my tanks, he won't even stop at the LFS for me on the way home from work because he is afraid of getting the "wrong" thing.

I just gotta ask though, how come the cray was able to catch your atf? I've kept crays in community and angel tanks and currently have a Cherax in with my eel and no problems, not even a nipped fin. The only fish my crays were able to bother or catch are sick or dead ones.
 
interesting title to the thread... My kids at work, being the juvenile delinquents that they are, like to throw an assortment of things in the african cichlid tank that we have. I have other things to yell at them about, so I let it happen until recently we moved our tank to the school where they can be watched more closely.
 
the fish was very healthy one of my faves. i guess to be safe its not a good idea to put a 4" blue crayfish with a 3" atf
 
well one time my mom was scrubing my tank because it had a very small patch of algee and she tipped over my slate whitch was glued with silicone (i still cant figure out how she tiped it over?)and killed my bichir eel
 
My ex did a water change for me, once. She figured 45 degree hose water would be fine to refill after an 80% change. Wiped out most of the fish. Whoops!
