sleeper goby + fahaka yes/no

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well thanks for all the advice everyone but i couldnt contain myself. . . i got him. . . i guess all i can say now is wish me luck, cuz i think im gonna really need it

You sound just like me.....Everyone's saying, "Probably a bad idea, man.." and I just think... "It'll work out, it was probably just that guy's fish."

Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose....well actually the fish lose cause they are the ones that get eaten...I just lose the cash I spent on them. I justify by asking myself...."did I enjoy the whole $25 bucks I paid for that fish for how ever long it lasted?" (in the case of my leichardti $100 for about 2 weeks)

once again....sometimes I win...Sometimes I lose.

A mbu is NOT a choice to consider for a 75gal.

Think 300gal and up for mbus due to their messy eating habits, HUGE bio-load, and tendency to regurgitate partially digested meals.
MMMMmmmm who else is hungry now??*L*
just sounded so pleasant. But yet so damned informative.

Right on, not to mention the fact that either a sleeper goby or fahaka kept ALONE would need bigger than a 75

just a little update for you guys as soon as i put the fahaka in he started nippin at my goby...so yeah off the start everyone was rite...but its been a week and everyone is happy. I put more plants in to break the line of sight and they just do thier own thing now. Well i cant say that anyone was wrong becuz yes my goby got a "fin make-over" and my fahaka hasnt really flipped out yet, its only been a week so for now the answer to my question is yes and no we will see if down the line its more no then yes

Well, good luck, hopefully you can prove us all wrong. Are you planning on upgrading the tank down the line as they get larger?

my fahaka i put an african in with him, I believe it is a electric blue ahli, but the fahaka took a chunk out of his fins first... now the african picks on the fahaka and sometimes bounces him around like a balloon lol....

wow thats a big puff aren't sleepers brackish fish if so then id say no for that reason second i'd say no cause in that size tank the goby won't be able to escape the puffers wrath fahakas are mean total A*# holes but still awsome fish

i grew up my fahaka with a common pleco. They lived together peacefully for a year. A couple weeks ago the puffer shredded the pleco.
