From what i remember its illegal to catch and keep/harvest them in Colombia when they are less than a meter.
However, i believe this fish can be found in a lot of places in South America so i think its not entirely illegal boss
With regard to the Philippines, i believe they are not illegal
Off topic boss, there was a bunch of "Mekong Giant catfish" that came in here. Its just so hard to tell whether they are the real deal because we dont know here for sure what they look like as juvies:/
