one of my sisters school pets..they told her she could keep it..so i guess i'll be stuck careing for it...lol.

they had no UV light for it, so i'll pick one up at the expo sunday.

it's a female, but they named it "Paco"

How did "Paco" live so long without a source of uv? Wasn't it essential for sliders to have a source of uv to form calcium. Was she next to a window with the sun shining on her or something?
 
they do need a UV source.

i'm not sure how they had it or where they had it, i've never been to the school. she came home with it today at around 5 along with a heat lamp. don't know how long they had it either.
 
I did not calcium could be substitute, sounds interesting though. Oh yeah TheMightyOscar goodluck with the slider.
