Here are two Youtube videos of our pond construction, with a couple pictures of our fishes. The aro pictured was injured during the move (best I can figure) and he did not make it. Another Pacu has also been added. So, now there are two Pacu and one RTC.

Nice ! Anymore Videos or Pictures ?

This pond looks great .

great great documentation and journaling, i wished i did something like that. Sorry to hear about Zen, how was he moved and did he fall on the floor?

He was moved in a Rubbermaid tub with an air bubbler. He thrashed a lot in the tub, but his previous owner said that's how he moved him before. He didn't take into account that the last time he moved him, he was much smaller. He survived for a couple of weeks, but he never ate. He never jumped out, or anything. It was really sad. He was a beautiful fish.

He was beautiful indeed, when I move aro's, I ensure I have two things: a large, thick plastic bag and a styrofoam box. I guess considering Zen's size, medication to relax it would have also been very appropriate. But I guess these are all Monday AM quarterbacking...just wanted others who read this to consider how powerful this fish are, too powerful even for their own good.

LOL that's funny. I always wanted to use epoxy instead of pond liner! But what we have is fine -- it's functional, but I'll always wistfully remember that six hundred dollars' worth of beautiful beige epoxy underneath!

Yeah, that was our next step. First, though we wanted to get everything done on the inside of the pond, and I think we've done that... we're not adding any more pumps! So, maybe that will be next. However, we have a 180 SW to set up, so.... priorities, priorities. The SW will probably be next.
