Slightly Bloated Juvie Jack Dempsey...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He could be a fatty, that's a good point! lol.

I don't use any rules when it comes to feeding, I feed them pellets until they are bored then feed them their fresh tiger prawns/mussels and leave it in there overnight.

I do daily water changes so I have no issues with leaving them their food to pick on overnight.
But do you do daily %40 water changes on your 210 gallon like I do?

I do 40% water changes daily at the moment as I'm trying to bring up the size of a few fish.

I didn't know this was a competition! :D lol

I'll be doing %50 water changes after tomorrow. I always win :)

The real question is if you do daily %40 water changes on a 210 gallon.

I don't do US gallons I'm from the UK, my tank is 750litres.

Wouldn't matter how big the tank is, it's a piece of p1ss, double syphon through window into drain, temperature match from tap directly into tank. Takes exactly zero effort, lol.

Good to see someone else has the time to do as many water changes as me.

My tank is 795 liters, so we end up doing about the same amount of work. Funny to see someone with a tank nearly the same size with the same water change schedule.

Doesn't take much time out of my day, I set a timer for draining and go about my business then set a timer for filling.

Well my male jag keeps trying to eat his girlfriend so I'm desperately trying to get her to grow as quickly as possible! lol
