Sliver looking bugs

I have been trying to get me tank clean I had tha little bugs on my glass for a while now(few months).. I have tried everything cleaning extra during the week te glass more ect.. I have cut the feeding down to very little once evry other day.. Today after the cleaning of the tubes(filters) I notice some small sliver looking bugs swimming in the water

.. anybody know what this is? This is becoming a head ach trying to keep this clean. My firends do nothing to there tank and never have problems. I clean mine twice a week and follow all the rules and what do I get the dirty tank and problems

They wont show up in a pic to small but I can see them in the water.. also some red looking bug..

How do they affect your fish?

I guess more so to the point. Do they act as a parasite would? Are they on the fish's body? Are your fish scratching against you tank floor or decor?

I haven't notice anything on him he seems normal.. I just saw them yesterday.. Can to much gravel be the cause of these problems? I haven't seen him flash at all..

unless you collected your substrate from a river or lake i dont think its the cause of your problem.

okay I have a question.. This morning when I looked in my tank I had these nat looking bugs on the top of the water and the lid anybody had this befor? I am going to break the whole tank down and clean it what should I clean it with? how long can the bb live in a 5 gallon bucket with water treated with prime? I am putting my O in a 20G while I do this so he should be okay for a few hours in there correct(and yes the tank is cycled )? My O seems to be okay he's eating fine and swimming all around. How should I clean my media? Thanks for all the help. If this don't work I am getting out of the fish hobby and get something less stressful

Okay I tried using this(Liquid PraziPro) to get rid of the bugs but it don't seem to be working? Has anybody use this befor? Is there something stronger? I can't seem to get rid of these bugs I tried taking the tank down and resetting up but I still have them.They were still in my media somehow. Anybody got any ideas on what these are? I can't take a pic the don't show up they look like a small piece of hair kind of redish..

I have no idea what they are. You could try a dose of salt. Or maybe just some melafix. If its not affecting your fish, I wouldn't stress about it too much. Just keep the water clean, and hopefully something will get rid of them.
