slow comp

i get wireless on my laptop from the neighboor,its been very slow lately loading pages even wors on mfk.Is it just not a strong signal,do i not delete cookies enough or what because its making me loco.I dont have much downloaded on this thing and i dont think im slowing it down with too much junk on here.Also do they make more powerfull antenas for these,mine is built in.It has an amd turion 1.8ghz or something like that.

are you stealing your neighbors internet?well you dont know what they are doing at all times.maybe they are just downloading something around this time.

If your card is built in then you have to pop the panel where the card is and attach a higher gain antenna.

Cookies have nothing to do with the wireless signal and how the slow the internet is going.

Unless your computer itself is going slow then you can start removing temporary items like cookies and history files. You might also want to look into spyware programs, you might have spyware.

thanks guys,the neighbor dosnt care,maybe they are on it more now or maybe im picken up a dif house .Ill check,and Ill look into the other antena.I use some avg that i downloaded free,maybe time to get a better one,ill see if it hase spyware.Yeah i clear the history every use but not cookies so just wasnt sure on that.Thanks guys.I should have my own hook up soon.
