Not really. It's apples and oranges since oxygen exists in both fresh and salt water and he's talking about replacing oxygen with methane. It would be more like living your life submerged in a swimming pool, never getting out to dry off. Could you do it? Maybe. Is it healthy? No, probably not.

So tell me this, o' Master of the Gastrointestinal Gasses; Is the level of oxygen present in a fart enough to support human life? He also said it was an airtight room, so the small oxygen levels would be depleted the more time you spend in the room. That means a Dead Human, or is there some magical process whereby a Human could survive on "carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide"?

As I said, it's apples and oranges. Moving a fish from fresh to salt isn't robbing it of oxygen.

if you can remember back to 20 minutes ago i simply noted that farty air would be the same as salt water for a freshwater fish and then you decided to come in all uppity trying to spout facts without the slightest clue as to what you were talking about. Furthermore I pity your humorless existence as you failed to see the fact that the comments that sparked this conversation was a joke and with that i bid you adiue

That tells me the oxygen content of most farts is negligible.

If you can remember back 20 minutes ago (you might have to pull the stick out of your ass to let some gas escape), you would note that I said your 'perfect comparison' conclusion was a load of crap because it wasn't comparing apples to apples.

Was I wrong in stating that farts would be replacing oxygen with methane? Sure, i can agree with that for the most part. It's replaced more with Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Methane, etc. All of which have the same effect on a human as pure methane without oxygen (death). So the conclusion I drew was factually correct, if not the components that led to that conclusion.

I don't think I came in all 'uppity'. I disagreed with your flawed conclusion in a polite way and you went off on the great white hunt for fart facts to try and prove your baseless conslusion. I actually live a very humor filled existance and I did get the joke. I thought it would be funny to play along and answer him seriously. I didn't expect your stuck up self to show up and take offense to the phrase 'Not really', and make it your personal mission to try and put me in my uneducated place.
