hey everybody, i currently have a 29 gallon high tank with 2 pearl gouramis, i BN pleco, 6 otocinclus and 1 old glowlight tetra (the rest of the school died)
i want to get some calm/ slow moving fish for this tank so the gouramis dont have to compete too much with anything.
i was thinking a school of glass cats. any other ideas are welcome.
thanks in advance

How long has it been since the other fish have died. Please make sure that you understand what you are doing for adding anything else.

the last one besides the one i have now died about a week ago and the others have slowly been dying over the past 4-5 months.
sorry, but i dont quite understand what you mean by "please understand what you are doing for adding anything else"
can you please clarify?

basically, do you know why they are dying?

Find out why before you add more fish.

What's available to you? If you could get something like a keyhole cichlid or other small placid cichlid I can imagine it would work nicely.

German Blue rams? They are extremely shy in my tank though. 9could be that i've only had them a week idk)

i have a school of adult glass cats and they are possibly the most 'boring' fish i have :P i adore them though. so very placid&mostly unmoving. at night though, they go crazy, but impossible to really see. they have lots of plants to hide under&are comfortable, they just choose not to move very much during the day XD dojo/weather loaches are incredibly endearing if you have bottomfeeder space. most bottomfeeders are such peaceful&charming little guys~
