Slowest growing cichlids

Clown loaches grow extremely slow after they hit 5-6". They only grow about 1" a year after the first 5-6" are done.

Slowest growers I have dealt with are gonna be my Retroculus lapidifers. I only just got them, but I understand they only grow 3-4" in the first year.

I have 4 festae I bought at under 1" in July and its now October and not a single baby is 2." Theyre so shy and hide from anything even people. Theyre.very fragile and dont even eat openly. My grammodes grew faster.

Sonething is wrong, i got 6 festae 6-8 weeks ago at 1" each. Biggest is now 2.75-3"

I think you may be wrong and over exaggerated. Maybe you got them bigger then a week. I got mine at .5" and after a year only got 4" roughly. And thats a bit slower then most others. Yours is super super speed growth if its true.

Slowest for me is a cryptoheros panamesis (check my spelling) so slow got them at like .5 like 4 months ago and the biggest is maybe 1.5"

For me it's the Green Terror. Every one I've ever had took forever to grow.

Im being serious. Got them the day after my umbee. They were exactly 1". Now the 4 biggest are 2.5+" and the other two are a bit smaller
