Small aggressive catfish

Well we squared things away. I did consider a pictus, and a few others. I have a 1,100 gallon pool that my redtail lives in for the summer. People love seeing my redtail but during the winter it’s moved into my grandfathers house where it’s still in the pool. I wanted something smaller that I can keep in my room. I guess I should of clarified exactly what I was lookin for

I larger group of pictus is always fun to feed. They are fast hardhitting little critters when they feed. Always in motion and up to some mischief

Alright sounds good. I’ve been looking at the pictus a lot and also a gulper.

This kind of like how pictus works. I had a group of 6 in a 275L tank some while ago and one of them was always like this. Funny as hell.

It's like it is preparing for an Olympic swimming event with great work ethic :)

Our pictus:

I was also going to mention pictus cats. I have three in my son’s tank and they are very fun to watch and feed. As soon as the flakes hit the water for the tetras, the pictus cats immediately start to go nuts. Sometimes they even swim to the top and start grabbing the flakes right off the surface. Then, I drop in their carnivore pellets and they scan the bottom with their barbles rapidly and inhale them.

What size tank are they going to be homed in?
