Small Bottom Dwellers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have two dragon gobys in my 29 gal & they are my favorite. Just odd looking fish. They look prehistoric. I'm not sure if they would be okay with plants so much. They seem pretty clumsy.. LOL! & with them, are senegal bichirs, a shovel nose catfish, a knife fish & plecos.

^ joking?

Anyways to the op, since you are doing apistos, maybe you want a bottom dweller from south America so it can be a biotope. Corys and s.a. Bumblebee catfish are small, cute, and peaceful. Hoplo cats and Raphael catfish get a bit bigger, but would probably work fine. Banjo catfish are awesome too

My SA Bunbelbee (Microglanis Iheringi) goes through spurts of aggression though as long as hes got a spot thats all his he should be fine. Banjos are great but like to hide and dig so may not be easy to find on a regular basis.

Have to say i like the bumblebee catfish too.. ive always found them to be pretty peaceful though unless they have bitesize tankmates
