yes they can its been done several times however your tank is already overstocked and i would recomend getting a larger setup if your planning on housing the dat and poly you already have they may be fine right now but the poly will grow to about a foot and the datnoid can reach a size of 18 inch however this will take some time as datnoids are reletivly slow growing ofcourse when they get a substantial size they may eat the tiger barbs

good luck and nice tank

This is a grow out tank for my 150. The Bircher is not big enough to handle the large dats in there already. I already grew out two NTT this tank.....The Bircher has been in about 8 months and was 1.5 inches at purchase....When he gets a bit plumper I will move him in with the big guys.

It will work. Ive done it before in my 40g breeder.

It will be a long time before the dats are big enough to eat the barbs.

i was gonna say that the bicher gots to go out of the 10G..but nvm its a growout..but um to your question id think yes

I was actually more worried about the Tiger barbs harrassing the dats! They are nearly the same size!
