I'm about to make a trip to petsmart. I have a 75 gallon with 7 silver dollars. Which small schooling fish would be the best to put in with them? I have a 1250 current in the tank will these small fish get tossed around to much?

IME, tetras are the best schoolers, followed by barbs (only some species as others don't even shoal) and finally the "sharks", which generally get large enough that you can't really see their schooling because most any tank isn't big enough.

With the current, I too would recommend something a bit bigger or to provide plenty of decoration to create lower current areas for the fish to hang out in. Problem with the Denison barbs is their 6" max sizes would only allow you to keep 3-4. Four would be the bare minimum for them as they do have a bit of a social structure that will see the bottom member(s) picked on. My personal recommendation would be to try Buenos Aires tetras or Congo tetras. Definitely love the color of the Congo tetras and they stay at around 3" each, so you could house 8-10 of them.
