What kind of scope do you have on there? I thinking about picking up my first .22 rifle this year.

It is a Simmons. Not quite sure of what model. It is great. I shot again yesterday.

where you live is full of snowshoe, cottontail, and jack rabbits witch all are fun to hunt and eat all but the jacks

I have tried to do research on small game hunting in CO, and it seems that the only good place to hunt rabbits is on the Western Slope near Grand Junction, which is pretty far.

Very nice. Looks very similar to my Savage.

My friend has a 250 acres of land. Its amazing to hunt there. Tons of trees. We built a place about 25-40 feet above ground in a tree kind of like a tree fort where we sit and shoot if we see anything. From his house we see wild turkey, and deer. So we go to get the guns lol.

They have alot of animals there rabbits, deer, wild turkey.

Great place.

Yes. My dad has two very well trained Labs that we use for duck, goose and pheasant hunting.

sweet soon ill be getting a German Shorthaired Pointer for northen bobwhite quail, chukar, pheasant, and woodcock

Liam showed me the 17 HMR rimfire.

It seems ideal for small- medium game. Its a very surprising round.

I'm thinking of getting a 17hmr rifle, since the ammo is cheap and its well suited for small game hunting.

More velocity compared to a .22. I saw a video on youtube (I tried to find it just now but couldn't) in which a kid shot a groundhog with a .22. The .22 killed it with little damage. Then, the kid shot a groundhog with a .17 hmr at around the same distance. It tore the thing in half.
