I’m looking for a gar species to go into a 125 for life. If anyone knows a species for a 125 for life please let me know. I’ve searched and can’t find anything. Any help will be amazing thanks

All true Gar species will out grow a 125 gallon.

Try a pike characin. Similar in appearance but will be comfortable in a 125g.

Needle nose gar may do well. Halfbeaks are an even smaller alternative.

Needle Nose are not true Gars and are fragile.
