Small monster fish?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a giant bumblebee catfish and a group of spotted or four lined pims on the bottom and a trio of giant pikeheads for the mid to top water would be cool

Leopard Ctenopomas aren't hard to break onto pellets at all. Mine take everything from pellets, to earth and blood worms to live food small enough for them. They eat just about anything lol. Fun fish but not probably what the OP is looking for. I don't know whats legal over there to suggest to you OP since you guys have super strict laws.

Damn, I've done some research, I found out that most of the fish you guys recommended are illegal here, we don't have a lot of choice in terms of tropical exotic fish in Australia and most aussie monster fish are too big for my tank. I'm considering small (ish) cichlids. Would a pair of rams, a pair of firemouths and some bottom feeders (clown loaches or red tails) be ok in the 60?
