Small native musical frog?

The only question is how will you feed them? Are you going to introduce mosquito's into the caiman's ponds???

I live in michigan, but I used to keep spring peepers for quite a while (sold my last few about a year ago). I caught all of mine by a vernal pond in the woods. As long as you have a small group (at least 2 males and 2 females) they should call regularly. Mine even spawned on a few occasions, all though the eggs ended up being infertile.

And they don't need mosquitos, pinhead crickets work just fine.

I'm hoping for them to call. I'm not sure about what I will do for feeding. it's just an idea atm. was thinking about some small easy to culture fly
such as fruit flies. there already is a large amount of small insects.

They'll take pinhead crickets. Fruit flies I'm sure would work too.

Word of warning, keeping them near your area of sleep is a very bad idea. I had one in my bedroom before I knew any better. My ears almost exploded they're so loud.

It was a cool frog though. I kept it by a keyboard and whenever I played a certain song, it would start peeping!

Lol. They.won't be goin on until spring. I'm gonna add more insulation to the enclosure first. Lessin the noise
