Small non-aggresive Cichlids

Rainbows, tetras, corys, and bn pleco.

Not sure if water change regiment can be done often enough at the office for rams.

Rainbows are an excellent choice, they would do very well to a 39-55G tank, and they are very hardy fish . . .

a pair of Blue Acara would be more colorful, but only if you go to at least 55G; Firemouth is also an option

I would also consider a group of Gymnogeophagus species . . . very peaceful, very colorful
