yeah, it floats.. or sinks.. i have mine on the bottom with a piece or slate on it! lol.. gotta get the bubbles out from the sides though first!!

You don't need to buy. I'll lend you one Mine is the floating one, without suction cup.

Thanks for the offer brother! I just talked to a Petco rep and they do have guppy breeder tanks. If the Petcos around me doesn't have them, I'll drop by your place later to borrow yours

Hold on. I use a floating bait trap for wade fishing. Its a yellow donut with mesh and metal ring. Doesnt look nice in the tank but works great. Pick up at Walmart or tackle shop for $10
