Small Temensis feeding Question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have it full with wood, gravel, water and heated to 29 degrees ready to go as soon as it has cycled more.

ramesh when my tems were that size i would chop up prawn realy small and they would smash it no worrys and i was feeding them 4 to 5 times a day good to see meng could help you out with some more tems now just have to find some other cichla

Yeah Meng is good to me but the more contacts the better as for the other types of Cichla I may hold off on them and just enjoy the Tems.
I didn't see the Jau cat/s I asked him about some rare catfish but had forgotten the name you mentioned. He thought I was talking about some rare L numbers he had but I told him that wasn't it. I going to grow these fish out and enjoy the process.

I hope they will grow fast because it means the 500g tank I have planned will have to be brought forward rather than April/May next year. I have a new 260g that I am cycling right now that they can progress to after they graduate from the 55g.

Nice...they will be out of the 55gal in no time!!! I know mine where!!!

same as what i do.
shrimps been my main staple since they were an inch long.

They took the defrosted brine shrimp this afternoon and I will give them the chopped up shrimp tomorrow morning but thanks for your advice guys. Think the brine shrimp are a bit small for them to really get a good feed but the certainly got exited. I also think they are getting accilimatised more so now also. I have to keep up the water changes because of the uneaten food getting sucked up by the power head and into the trickle filter. I am feeling more confident now they are taking some food now.
Thanks again guys.
