Rays are stunning and the setup is beautiful. the low lighting gives great effort could watch your tank for hours

Yes it's different being low light. Not to say I can't brighten it up. The lighting is set really low with sunset and sunrise.i do watch it almost every night for a couple hours. It's positioned so I can watch it and the tv simultaneously

Awesome setup!!! i really dig the dark look. Besides the flagtail. is that a big bala shark in there?

Thanks. Yes that is a large bala shark. He is over a foot long now probably 14"

Yes rays are more at ease in a darker environment and i personally had envisioned a tank like this for years before actually putting it together. Only problem i have presently is my big cichla trying to eat the large silver dollars and my male henlei trying to breed my female again but she wont have it and is getting beat up so i need to set up a new tank again. My wife is so easy going im so lucky..

my wife puts her foot down at 3 tanks. use to be 5 but down/upgraded, less tanks, bigger tanks,lol
