I change 50 percent every two weeks on my 180. I just crack open the in and out valves and come back In 20 mins. When my fish get bigger I will do smaller ones more often.

This may be a bit extreme, but the Amazon river, where many of your fish come from, discharges over 77 million gallons per second, now that's the kind of water change they are used to.

Ok fixed it didn't realize it was on private enjoy, hope some of you try this, I think it's beneficial.

Thats a heck of a water change @ duanes

Thanks for the ideas of water change.

yeah I thought I was doing pretty good doing daily 25%-40% water changes on my tanks, until I started checking out the discharge flows of the rivers my fish come from.

Lol yea, I thought my 10 gallon water change yesterday was a big job lol...maybe because it was 2am and didn't want to wake anyone lol. Is it just me or is everything louder at night lol

Once I get the python to connect to my faucet...then to the 20 gallon bucket placed in front of the tank water changes will be much easier!
