thats one of the worse stingray tanks I´ve ever seen.
take out those balls, pure stingray.
would u like to rub with your belly over football-size stones?
Take sand, gravel or go bare-bottom but that what u have is such cruel.

No idea what that white stuff is, if it eats well it will be away soon.
Yeah... it would be a good idea to take those pebbles out.

actually i dont feel the marbles are a issue and if they do become a issue i will take them out.. the ray is fine with them...and can glide all over them seeing that they are all balls and not stones they just roll around with her...they dont get in her way...by far way better then gravel in my opinion but i guess you would have to be able to see it..

thanks for all the help im adding salt today...it doesnt seem to be bothering her or anything...shes as happy as can be swimming all over...laying on my ornates face...chasing ghost shrimp

theres a heater but it can no way be touched by the ray.... its blocked all the way around about 2 inch all the way.

I dont see a problem with the marbles either. Ive kept mine with riverrock with zero problems. Hope the ray gets better soon. Like everybody said, I would increase temp and add salt. Great news is that she is eating!

Heres a pic of my river rock setup...

THANKS :) i cant believe someone said i was actually being cruel to the ray.... either way i have been thinking and ive decided to put my marbles in my corner tank...and do the rays tank in sand...anyone lean towards any particular brand and or type?:screwy:

i guess you would have ot see the ray swim is all i can think.. she how its able to just glide over the marbles/river rock...

pool filter sand works fine, but i prefer bare bottom, its so much cleaner.

Estes marine sand. Black is my personal preference.

I started at 5 and just got done...did white sand...since my tank and stand are all black.looks nice.

I wouldent say its cruel. But its really pointless.

If you just want something to look at, get a flower (in a pot).

pebbels just looks stupid. Cant really get anymore unnatural.

I know that rays looks nice, and that more and more are buying them. But i just dont think you have come to he point where you should keep rays.

getting some sand is good though.
