I have an RTG and it don't look like it's going to get bigger than 18 inches.
It's nearly 3 years old and it seems like it's stopped growing.
It's not getting any longer or thicker.

That's gold based arowana's. They will keep growing slowly. Around 5 years you should have a 20+".
Try superworms if you want to mass up. It's like steroids for arowanas.

ok cool if i get a jardini can i put a small 5 inch disk motoro ray (male) in there too?

Lets not forget the Jardini is an order of magnitute greater on the aggressive scale! be careful with jardini.....after 9 inches they often do not play well with others!

I think of only having one fish in a tank when it comes to jardinis. There is always an exception or two to the rule, but I don't even consider damaging my stock by introducing those biting machines. All of my jardinis that I have had, with the exception of one, pretty much thrashed anything that swam in their tank. I had a 16" sailfin pleco and 17" marbled cat that was torn to pieces by a crazy jardini! I am over the one fish in a tank thing, so I don't even consider keeping jardinis anymore. Plus they are a dime a dozen and rather inexpensive fish where I am from. At around 6 inches they start showing their killing potential...wouldn't let a jardini near a beautiful ray!

However, I do have a leichardti and he has been mellow since the day I got him. I tossed him in my show tank with little doubt that he would be a terror...I am currently looking for an asian arow and I would treat the asian just like a lei, with little worries...

That's the only thing it'll eat!! I throw MS or Tapila in the tank every night for my DATs but my RTG won't eat it. Even if it's had nothing to eat for weeks, (like now).
It's gone over 6 weeks without eating before now while i was trying to starve in on to pellets.
It's not normal i tell ya!

That could be a mistake, Asians can be as aggressive.

just get a jar and keep him alone , you will love the jardini , way more colorfull than a silver

I heard larger bichirs are fine with jardinis.
