smaller monitors?

i was telling a friend of mine about my project for lacertas , and he has a a shed type encloure that he wants to set up for a monitor.. or something

he says he likes tegus and savanahs but he really wants something around 3 feet or smaller but a good thick ness

any ideas on monitors ,lizards, ??

and full size of lizard?

just showed him those right now and he said he likes but seen a ad that one guy was saling hatchlings and asking price was 1800 so he said thats out of hid budget

maybe, he likes these guys just showed him alot on the web he might be able to get 2..


his woodedshed is 6x4x8high and the 8 will be cut in half he will close off the top and keep the bottom for the monitors.. but his downfall he says on these guys are that it says not to handle alot..

Are those the same as Kimberly Rock Monitors, Varanus glauerti? They are an awesome looking varanid! Speaking of varanids, where is Varanio at? I'm sure he'd be happy to name some species for you.

different i beleive,, kimberlys are more brown and bigger..

Savannas don't get big? Check out the picture of mine. He's beastly and he's not even half way done growing.

I agree with Reptech. Green tree's are awsome monitors! My favorite. They don't get as massive as savanna's do and they're pretty to boot!
