smaller water changes more often or bigger less often

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
50-60% a week for me. I have loads of filtration but then I also have sensitive fish so yeah.

I do a 45 to 50% wc at least once a week but usually every 5 days depends how much you feed them and how many fish are in there

water changes are dictated by water parameters... thats the only right way to do them...

way to half post there chester..

that being said... i still do 20-60% on all my tanks weekly or in the case of my way overfiltered understocked planted tank.. biweekly..

I usually do 10-20 gallons on my 180 every day. (sometimes I do it in the morning and night, only on weekends). My 55 gallons I do around 10-15 gallon of water change every other day.

you guys are so silly I havent done a water change in 3 years. All my fish are over 5 years old. Im probly just using the rite filter

Custom RO Filtration is for the pros

Im talking about a reverse osmosis deionizing filter its not filtering the water in your tank its changing it out. Constantly. The water in my tank changes every 2 days.

Heres a link to a site that explains what im talking about
