You can't go wrong with either species. and either would be happy in a 55 for life. sand bottom, or bare is best. and they appreciate planted tanks. ime peacocks tend to be abit more outgoing, but individual fish can go either way. zig zags also tend to look more lil' lil' hot-dogs and peacocks stay more streamlined. If you go with a zig zag just be wary you don't accidentally get a tire track, which will outgrow a 55.
