I have several FW Puffers, they are only pest to other fish, not really overly predatory. I still love em' though!

LOL i am getting some for my two ten gallon tanks I have lying around.Citrinellus;4330576; said:This tank is only 6.6 us gallons, a lot of the fish recommended get to large for that. I suggest you go with some pea puffers. They'll demolish pond snails and blood worms.

those rules are completely useless and should NOT be followed. i love Exodons, theyre a bunch of little pitbulls. if you've ever seen how they swim you'd know they are too big for a tank that size. I wouldnt do it. they are very active fishKurtH;4330594;4330594 said:But in aquariums Exodons grow to usually 4 inch which is 10.2 cm and the last site I looked at says 1 cm of fish per 1 litre of water so 25 litres is 25 cm of fish which = 2 Exodons![]()
It has been debated using that rule does not apply the the actual needs that a fish may require not to be stressed and die. I would just hold the fort down till you get a bigger tank. Having only one or two Exos will not be that thrilling anyway, it would be much better with 10-15.KurtH;4330594; said:But in aquariums Exodons grow to usually 4 inch which is 10.2 cm and the last site I looked at says 1 cm of fish per 1 litre of water so 25 litres is 25 cm of fish which = 2 Exodons![]()
